Regina police arrest 4 people after assault and robbery incident

Four people have been arrested following a robbery in Regina.

Police were called to the 800 block of Empress Street around 5:20 p.m. on April 6, after a report of a robbery.

The victim told officers they were assaulted and had personal belongings taken before the suspects fled into a nearby residence.

After speaking with the victim, officers attended the home, where four suspects were identified and arrested without incident.

A 19-year-old and 18-year-old are jointly charged with one count of robbery and made their first court appearance in Regina Provincial Court on April 7.

In addition, two youths, a 16-year-old male and 14-year-old female, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are jointly charged with one count of robbery.

The youths appeared in Regina Provincial Youth Court on April 7.
