RCMP responds to 78 collisions in Sask. over past day as winter conditions grip province

As another round of winter weather hits Saskatchewan, RCMP are urging drivers to exercise caution on the roads.

From 3 p.m. April 7 to noon April 8, Saskatchewan RCMP responded to 78 collisions across the province. No serious injuries or fatalities have been reported in connection with these incidents.

The collisions included motor vehicle crashes, vehicles in ditches, and other traffic hazards.

RCMP are advising drivers to check weather and road conditions before traveling and to delay trips if conditions are poor.
