Shake the Lake 2025 has come and gone. The annual celebration of rock music in the Queen City, held Friday, Aug. 22 to Saturday, Aug. 23, boasted a fully-Canadian lineup this year. On Friday evening, crowds were treated to performances by 80’s rockers Helix, playing classics like “Rock You” and “Gimme Gimme Good Lovin.” Finger 11 of “Paralyzer” and “One Thing” fame followed, before things ended with a set from Default, best known for the track “Wasting My Time.” Saturday saw Oakville, Ontario’s The Kings and Calgary’s The Stampeders rock the stage, prior to welcoming Trooper to “Raise a Little Hell,” before ending the event with a grand finale from Kingston hard rock group the Headstones. Some of the sights of Regina’s rocking weekend were captured and can be seen in the gallery below.
