- 2 p.m.: Deadline to file nomination papers to run for mayor, councillor, or trustee, or to drop out

- Nominated candidates certified

- Voters’ List available to candidates upon written request
- First day voters can update their info on the Voters’ List
- First day voters can apply for a special mail-in ballot
- First day voters can appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf
September 11, 2026
- Election signs can start going up
September 15, 2026
- 4:30 p.m.: Deadline to apply for a special mail-in ballot
September 20, 2026
- 4:30 p.m.: Deadline to update information on Voters’ List
October 1, 2026
- List of changes to Voters’ List provided to candidates>
- Final Expense Limits Certificate to be provided to candidates and third party advertisers
