Sunshine, daytime highs above 20 C all week in Ottawa

Ottawa is set to enjoy a stretch of beautiful late summer weather, with sunshine and daytime highs above 20 C this week.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for sunshine over the next six days, with no rain in the forecast until Saturday night.

It will be mainly sunny today. High 20 C.

Clear tonight. Low 6 C. Environment Canada says fog patches could develop overnight.

Tuesday will be sunny. High 23 C.

Sunshine continuing on Wednesday. High 26 C.

The outlook for Thursday calls for a mix of sun and cloud. High 20 C.

Friday will be mainly sunny. High 21 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 21 C and a low of 11 C.

Sunset before 7:30 p.m.

The sun will now set before 7:30 p.m. as the days continue to get shorter.

Sunset is scheduled for 7:28 p.m. today, after it set at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
