Risk of rain for final days of school in Ottawa

There is a risk of rain to wrap up the school year in Ottawa.

Today is the final day of classes at the Ottawa Catholic School Board, while classes at Ottawa-Carleton District School Board elementary schools wrap up tomorrow.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for a mainly cloudy day today with a 40 per cent chance of showers. There is the risk of a thunderstorm this afternoon. High 24 C.

It will be cloudy tonight with a 70 per cent chance of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm. Low 15 C.

Friday will be cloudy with a 70 per cent chance of showers. There is a risk of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon. High 22 C.

Sunshine returns on Saturday. High 27 C.

The outlook for Sunday calls for sunshine. High 28 C.

Monday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers. High 29 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 25 C and a low of 15 C.
