A 16-year-old driver is facing a charge after a vehicle struck the front of a store in Exeter on Sunday night. Police say the incident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. on June 21, when the teen lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the building. No injuries were reported. The novice driver who was accompanied by another licensed driver, according to police, has been charged with careless driving under Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act. Police did not release the name of the youth under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
