Petawawa man killed in dirt bike crash

Ontario Provincial Police say a man from Petawawa died on Saturday after crashing his dirt bike on a snowmobile trail on Saturday.

Police said the man hit a tree on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Trail 128 at around 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

Bystanders attempted to save the man’s life after he was thrown from the bike, but the 27-year-old died at the scene.

OPP say the investigation remains ongoing.
