Ontario Provincial Police in Ottawa are seeking witnesses following a hit-and-run incident on Highway 417 on Thursday. According to OPP, the incident happened eastbound on the highway near Woodroffe Avenue just before 1 p.m. Police say one vehicle involved in the collision struck a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee and the driver fled the scene without exchanging information. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have footage related to the incident, is asked to contact Ottawa OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference case number E260694262.
