Ottawa police say a 36-year-old man from Ottawa has been charged with child sexual abuse and exploitation materials (CSAEM)-related offences. According to a news release from police, 36-year-old Christopher Baynham is facing charges of possession and distribution of CSAEM. Baynham was arrested on July 24 after police executed a search warrant at his home in Orléans, seizing several electronic devices believed to contain CSAEM. Police say they believe Baynham may have other victims, and he used the following online usernames: Police say the investigation stemmed from multiple cyber-tip reports alleging that an individual was sharing CSAEM. The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service’s internet child exploitation unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5660.
