Ottawa due for stretch of cool weather with rain and chance of flurries

After a brief stretch of warm and sunny weather, Ottawa is due for a few cold and rainy days and possibly flurries.

According to Environment Canada’s weather forecast, the temperature in Ottawa will reach a high of 6 C and a low of -2 C on Sunday.

The forecast also predicts a 60 per cent chance of showers, which may turn into flurries in the evening.

Flood warnings are in effect for parts of eastern Ontario and Quebec. To see where sandbags can be collected, visit the City of Ottawa website or the City of Gatineau website.

On Monday, expect a cloudy day with a temperature high of 3 C.

Tuesday, brace for another cool day with temperatures around 5 C and a 60 per cent chance for flurries or showers.
