O-Train Line 1 eastbound service fully restored

After a brief disruption, eastbound service for Ottawa’s O-Train Line 1 is fully operational.

According to a service alert released by OC Transpo Thursday evening, eastbound service was only being offered from Tunney’s Pasture station to St. Laurent station, meaning eastward trains were not running from St. Laurent to Blair stations.

OC Transpo says the disruption was due to a switch issue.

Westbound trains were still operating at all stations.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., OC Transpo said service had been fully restored.
