Man taken to hospital following motorcycle crash on Highway 417 on-ramp

Ottawa paramedics say a man was taken to the hospital in stable condition following a single motorcycle crash on Highway 417 near Nicholas Street on Friday night.

Paramedics responded to the incident at approximately 9:46 p.m.

According to paramedics, the driver lost control of the motorcycle on the highway’s on-ramp and was ejected over the guardrail.

Paramedics say the driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition to treat non-life-threatening injuries.
