Meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm that may be producing a tornado, with intense rainfall, large hail and damaging winds also possible. 6:30 p.m. A tornado warning was issued for the R.M. of Meeting Lake, with meteorologists tracking an area of severe thunderstorms Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall were possible. 6:05 p.m. The tornado warning in the R.M. of Norton expanded to more areas, including Radville and Hardy. According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the tornado location was about 25 kilometres southeast of Parry and was moving southeast at 40 km/h with Khedive and Radville in its path. Wind gusts of up to 110 km/h, hail of up to 6.9 cm and rain of up to 50 mm were possible. 5:44 p.m. A tornado warning was issued for the R.M. of Round Hill, including Rabbit Lake and Whitkow, as well as the R.M. of North Battleford northwest of the Battlefords. Damaging winds up to 100 km/h and baseball sized hail were possible. 5:03 p.m. The thunderstorm warning for the R.M. of Norton was upgraded to a tornado warning, with wind gusts up to 110 km/h, hail up to 6.9 centimetres and heavy rain up to 50 millimetres possible. ECCC said the extreme weather was located about 20 kilometres southwest of Parry and was moving east at 50 km/h, with the communities of Parry and Pangman in its path. 4:46 p.m. The R.M. of Norton, including Pangman and Khedive, was placed under a orange level severe thunderstorm warning. ECCC meteorologists were tracking a thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail capable of causing significant damage, and heavy rain. ECCC advised those in the area to take cover if a thunderstorm approaches. 4:35 p.m. A tornado was spotted on the ground near Edam, according to ECCC. 4:09 p.m. A tornado warning was issued for portions of northwest Saskatchewan, including Turtleford and Mervin. According to an alert from ECCC, meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm near Mervin that was possibly producing a tornado. The thunderstorm was moving to the northeast at 15 km/h. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall were also possible. A tornado warning was also issued for parts of south central Saskatchewan, including Old Wives Lake and surrounding areas. 3:41 p.m. ECCC meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm that was possibly producing a tornado, with damaging winds, large hail and local intense rainfall possible. The alert said the extreme weather was located near Conquest and was moving northeast at 40 km/h, with the communities of Outlook and Broderick in its path. The agency said the weather conditions were creating a dangerous situation. Those in the area were urged to take cover immediately in a basement or sturdy shelter if threatening weather approached.
