A 27-year-old eastern Ontario resident is facing over a dozen charges following a child exploitation investigation. Ontario Provincial Police say officers executed a search unit at a residence in Killaloe on July 30. The accused, a resident of Killaloe, faces a long list of charges, including: OPP say the suspect’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the victims. “The OPP will continue to identify and pursue individuals who use technology to exploit children,” police said in a news release Monday evening. “Parents are reminded to take a proactive approach to help protect their children from online sexual exploitation by educating their children on internet safety.” The suspect was held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
