Police say a driver died after colliding with a hydro pole in Gatineau on Monday afternoon. Gatineau police say officers responded to the single-vehicle crash shortly after 3:30 p.m. on rue Saint-Antoine. On arrival, police say they found an unconscious individual and immediately began CPR. The person was taken to hospital by paramedics, where he was later declared dead. Police say foul play has been ruled out and the investigation has been transferred to the coroner’s office.
