Four people arrested in connection with the Chesham Place explosives investigation are facing 19 new charges, bringing the total to 31. One of the accused, Jerry Tong, appeared in court Tuesday via video, when Justice Chantal Bertrand filed the new charges. The new offences include possession of explosive substances, as well as possession of stolen property taken from Western University. CTV News confirmed the update with one of Tong’s defence lawyers, Ron Ellis. Tong, 27, Zekun Wang, 27, Fei Han, 26, and Feiyang Ji, 21, were all arrested in January. Han is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, while Wang and Ji are both out on bail with conditions.
