Two people were killed over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 69 in Pointe-Au-Baril, Archipelago Township.

Ontario Provincial Police said the crash took place around 4:30 a.m. June 27.

The highway was closed for several hours between Highway 124 in Parry Sound and Highway 522 in Pointe-Au-Baril as the OPP traffic incident management enforcement team investigated the scene.

It reopened around 12:20 p.m. No other details have been released.
