Police in Thunder Bay have charged a 24-year-old local man with several offences after an incident at a business Friday. “Officers were dispatched to a business in the Court Street South area at approximately 10:05 a.m. … in response to a weapons call for service,” the Thunder Bay Police Service said in a news release. “The suspect left the scene before officers arrived.” Officers said a search of the area located the suspect. “A search of the accused led to the seizure of two-edged weapons,” said police. As a result, the man has been charged with uttering threats, mischief, resisting a peace officer and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The accused was remanded into custody following his first court appearance.
