Sault police seek info on serious crash that injured e-scooter driver

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking witnesses or dash cam footage of a serious collision that took place July 18.

A motor vehicle and an e-scooter collided around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of McNabb Street and Great Northern Road.

“The operator of the e-scooter sustained life-threatening physical injuries and was transported to hospital,” police said in a news release Wednesday.

“The driver of the motor vehicle did not sustain physical injuries.”
