Provincial police look for help locating snowmobile stolen in West Nipissing

The Nipissing West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment is seeking the public’s help locating a snowmobile which was stolen from a residence on Olivier Street in West Nipissing this month and those responsible for its theft.

“Sometime between February 1-19, 2025, unknown person(s) attended the property and removed an orange and black 2017 Yamaha Sidewinder RTX 1100 Turbo snowmobile,” said police in a news release.

OPP has shared details of the theft investigation on social media and provided a photo of the orange and black snowmachine showing its distinct appearance.

“Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the theft or possession of this item,” said police.
