Popular Sudbury eatery closing at the end of the month

While teasing future plans, the owner of Tony V’s Pizza and Restaurant on Martindale Road in Sudbury has announced the restaurant will close as of Feb. 28.

“This isn’t an ending, rather a chance to pull back, refocus and prepare for what comes next,” said the post by Ryan Nesci.

“Tony V’s will continue, just in a new way. Be sure to stay tuned for what’s next … details coming in March.”

Nesci said the building at 1323 Martindale has been sold, adding that “something new and exciting is coming soon – we will share more information on this soon.”

He took over the business in 2010, he said, “continuing a family legacy that began generations before me. The years that followed were filled with highs and lows, challenges and triumphs, and moments I’ll carry with me forever.”

“Tony V’s has been my heart and soul for the last 15 years, and while things may look different moving forward, this business and what it represents are not going away,” Nesci said.

“To our staff (past and present), customers, our friends and especially our family: thank you! You are the reason Tony V’s became more than a restaurant. You made it a gathering place, a tradition and a second home.”

“As we wrap up this chapter, I invite you to join us throughout February; to share a meal, raise a glass and celebrate the memories we built together.”
