Police in Timmins have released images of a suspect wanted in connection with an early morning fire last month. The Timmins Fire Department responded at 3 a.m. on Sept. 12 to the structure fire on Third Avenue near Balsam Street South. “The fire was deemed suspicious in nature and the investigation was turned over to the Timmins Police Service,” police said in a news release Thursday. “The incident resulted in significant property damage. Timmins Police Service ... obtained an image of a suspect believed to be involved in this occurrence.” Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call police at 705-264-1201.
