Police seek driver of truck that fled 3-vehicle crash in Coniston

Provincial police in Sudbury are seeking the driver of a white Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck that fled a three-vehicle crash on Highway 17 in Coniston on Friday.

Ontario Provincial Police in Sudbury have released a photo of a Ram 1500 truck they say was involved in a collision last week on Highway 17 in Coniston.

The crash took place near Second Avenue on Oct. 10 around 3:30 p.m., police said in a news release Wednesday morning.

No injuries

“The driver of the white Ram 1500 pickup truck was travelling west on Highway 17 and struck the vehicle in front of them, then pushed that vehicle into another vehicle,” police said.

“No injuries were reported, but the driver of the white Ram 1500 then pulled around the two vehicles and continued west towards (the Kingsway) … in Sudbury.”

Police are hoping to find both the vehicle and the person who was driving.
