Multiple vehicle crash at Frood Road roundabout in Sudbury

Emergency responders are on the scene of a multi-vehicle collision at the roundabout at the corner of Frood Road and the Lasalle Boulevard extension.

Greater Sudbury police, fire and paramedics are on the scene Thursday afternoon of a multiple vehicle crash at the roundabout at Lasalle Boulevard and Frood Road.

Police said it happened at 11 a.m. and that one person was taken to hospital. A second person was also seen being taken away in an ambulance just before noon.

There is no word on the cause. Traffic is slow at the scene but is still moving.
