Motorcycle crash near North Bay causes ‘life-altering injuries’

A 66-year-old motorcycle driver was seriously injured last weekend in a Highway 11 crash just south of North Bay.

Ontario Provincial Police and an ambulance from North Bay responded to the single-vehicle collision July 12 around 5 p.m.

“The driver and lone occupant of the motorcycle, a 66-year-old individual from South River, was transported to local hospital with serious, life-altering injuries,” police said in a news release Tuesday.

“There were lane restrictions on southbound Highway 11 for approximately four hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene.”
