Two people are in hospital after an altercation in Montreal’s Saint-Michel neighbourhood early Friday morning. Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 12:30 p.m. about the incident on Crémazie Boulevard and Musset Avenue. “When police arrived at the scene, they located two victims, a man aged 20 years old and another man in his 30s,” said Caroline Chèvrefils, a spokesperson with Montreal police. “They had upper body injuries, possibly caused by a sharp object.” The victims were transported to hospital, and their lives are not considered to be in danger. “According to the initial reports, a fight broke out among several people,” said Chèvrefils. No arrests have been made. A security perimeter has been established to allow investigators to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
