With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, here’s a look at what will be open and closed during the statutory holiday.

OPEN

• Most grocery stores and pharmacies
• Shopping malls including the Eaton Centre and Complexe Desjardins.
• Museums
• Ecocentres
• Public markets like Jean-Talon and Atwater
• Public transit will be on a reduced schedule
• Biodome, Biosphère, Botanical Garden, Insectarium and Planetarium

CLOSED

• Banks
• Canada Post (currently on strike)
• Government Services like permit counters, Accès Montréal offices and municipal courts and offices
• Indoor pools, libraries, community (or reduced hours)
• Passport and Service Canada offices
• Most SAQ locations will be closed except SAQ Express stores

Garbage, recycling and compost collection are unaffected.

Parking restrictions remain in effect on holidays.
