Police investigate possible murder-suicide in Montreal suburb

Quebec police (SQ) are investigating after two bodies were discovered west of Montreal.

Quebec provincial police (SQ) is investigating two suspicious deaths west of Montreal.

The SQ said the deaths are not linked to the case of the missing Montreal-area three-year-old girl.

According to Noovo Info sources it may have been a murder-suicide.

Police were called around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, after a body was found in Pointes-des-Cascades Park in the Vaudreuil-Soulange MCR. Another body was discovered in a nearby home in neighbouring Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the victims are unknown but police confirmed they are both adults.

Police say that “all hypotheses are being considered,” and the investigation is ongoing.
