TVA Publications shutting down six magazines

TVA Publications is shutting down six of its magazines. namely Le Lundi, Animal, Decormag, 150 plans, Moi&cie and Signé M.

The company said it is focusing on its strongest performers and has decided to chop magazines that were not doing as well.

Surviving magazines include 7 Jours, La Semaine, Chez Soi and The Hockey Magazine.

The head of Groupe TVA say the remaining magazines are doing well in the market and should be able to grow.

Lucie Dumas, vice-president and editor in chief of Groupe Magazines, said she believes this is the best option.
