An EF0-level tornado touched down in Repentigny, Que., on Sunday, confirmed the Northern Tornadoes Project (NTP). “The tornado developed as a weak supercell thunderstorm [and] moved through the area,” the group explained. “A damage survey recorded high-end EF0 damage.” The NTP noted that the weather system started at 2:05 p.m., causing damage to trees and buildings. Estimated maximum wind speeds were recorded at 130 km/h, with a track length of 1 km and a path width of 100 m. There were no reported injuries.
