Quebec police issue Silver Alert for missing senior from the U.S.

Quebec provincial police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing American woman who was last seen on Montreal’s South Shore.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) issued the alert at 5 p.m. for Ann John Cunningham, 86, from Milwaukee, WI.

She was last seen near Longueuil at around 1 p.m. According to police, she was leaving the U.S. and heading toward Newfoundland and Labrador.

The alert says she might be disoriented and officers have reason to fear for her health and safety.

She is described as five feet three inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. She was driving a grey 2014 Chevrolet Malibu with the licence plate AUH9229.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911. Information that could help locate Cunningham can be shared confidentially with the SQ’s Criminal Information Center at 1-800-659-4264.
