Montreal police are investigating after a member of the public on Wednesday found a man’s body on the shore of the St. Lawrence River. The body was found at around 9:15 a.m. near René-Lévesque Park in Lachine. A police spokesperson said there did not appear to be marks of violence on the body of the man in his 30s and that an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Investigators are also examining the scene where the body was found.
