Montreal opposition pushes for parking status quo The opposition at Montreal City Hall is pushing to keep the status quo after the city tried to extend hours for paid parking fees.

The city's new rules for paid parking still aren't clear. The hours that people had to pay for parking were suddenly extended, then suddenly not.

Now, the opposition is pushing for the city to leave things as they are.
