Here are the Montreal-area road closures on the weekend

A relatively light work schedule is planned for the weekend, but there will still be some routes closed due to construction in and around Montreal.

Charles-de-Gaulle Bridge (A-40)

• From Friday at 9:30 p.m. to Monday at 4 a.m., one of three lanes in both directions will be closed on Highway 40 between Gouin Boulevard East in Montreal and Saint-Charles Road (R-344) in Terrebonne, including the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge.

The speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h on Highway 40 in both directions.

De L’Acier Highway (A-30)

• In Brossard, from Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. Highway 30 eastbound will be closed between exit 67 (A-10, A-15, I-89, downtown Montreal, Sherbrooke) and the Highway 10 eastbound and westbound access ramps. Traffic will be diverted to the service road.

Ville-Marie Expressway (R-136)

• From Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., exit 7 (R-134 east, Papineau Avenue, Jacques Cartier Bridge, De Lorimier Avenue) will be closed.

Notre-Dame Street East

• From Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. Notre-Dame Street East will be closed between Panet Street and Papineau Avenue.

In case of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, all work may be cancelled.
