Freddy Krueger, Hellboy, Lorraine McFly headline Montreal Comiccon 2026 special guests

Cosplayers at Montreal Comiccon, the annual festival of dress up, manga, comics, fantasy, scifi and games.

Montreal Comiccon announced some of its headlining guests for the three-day seminal costume, comic and nerd fest in the metropolis.

Back to the Future’s Lea Thomson will join Hellboy, Fallout and Sons of Anarchy’s Ron Perlman, Teen Wolf’s Tyler Posey and Freddy Krueger himself - Robert Englund - at the Palais des Congres from July 3 to 5.

The three-day, three-floor celebration of pop culture, cosplay, comics, and toys will also have its regular staple supply of artists, collectors and retailers selling and telling from booths.

Saturday will again feature The Masquerade costume contest, and Sunday is the Canada Cosplay Championship (Cosplay-Eh!).

Other guests include Catherine Tate (The Office, Doctor Who), Tyler Hoechlin (Superman & Lois, Teen Wolf), Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate 3), and Brandon Rogers (Helluva Boss, Hazbin Hotel).

“This year’s lineup represents the incredible diversity and breadth of pop culture that our fans are passionate about,” said Montreal Comiccon co-president Alex La Prova in a news release. “From iconic film franchises to groundbreaking video games and the resurgence of interest in comic books, we’re bringing together the talent that has shaped the entertainment landscape for generations. We can’t wait to welcome fans from across Canada and beyond to celebrate these incredible artists and creators.”

The Montreal Comiccon launched in 2009 and attracts around 65,000 visitors each year, according to the release.

The Comiccon de Quebec runs Oct. 10-11, and the one in Ottawa is Sept. 11-13.

Three-day tickets range from $89 to $287, before June 28, for adults and $17.70 for children between six and 12.

Single-day tickets before June 18 are as follows:

• Friday - Under 12 (free), 13-21 years old ($17), General ($33.75), VIP ($130)
• Saturday - Six to 12 ($12.70), 13-21 years old ($17), General ($54.25), VIP ($207)
• Sunday - Six to 12 ($7.70), 13-21 years old ($17), General ($38), VIP ($150)

Prices increase from June 29 to the end of the convention.
