Special weather statement issued with heavy rain possible

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday morning, but the probability will decrease to about 40 per cent over the next few hours. Heading into the afternoon, temperatures are set to soar, feeling like the mid-20s Celsius.

Winds will be breezy out of the southwest, with gusts potentially reaching up to 50 km/h. While the wind will be noticeable, the chance for rain will diminish, and we’ll see some breaks of sunshine. Expect a beautiful, windy, and extremely warm afternoon.
