Stabbing suspect arrested in London

A London man has been arrested after a stabbing in the city on Wednesday morning.

Around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, police found and arrested a 28 year old in the area of Carlyle Drive and Speight Crescent.

The accused is charged with one count of aggravated assault.

Just after 5 a.m. on Wednesday, police were called to the area of Wharncliffe Road North and Oxford Street for what was described as a weapons investigation.

Police told CTV News when officers arrived, they found a person with stab wounds who was taken to hospital by paramedics with serious injuries.
