A suspect was arrested and charged after threatening residents on Alma Street, early Wednesday morning. Once police arrived on scene, they determined the 44-year-old man had an outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000 after shoplifting in October. He was arrested based on the warrant and charged with an additional nine counts of mischief for damaging vehicles in the Alma Street area. Police say the vehicles had been damaged with a small log, and a bat was used to break windows on the vehicles. The suspect has been released on an undertaking with a future court date.
