Some sunshine Monday, but cool temps and flurries expected

CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison has the details on your full weather forecast.

Temperatures will be below normal to start your workweek, but some sunshine is helping us get through Monday.

“We have wind chills into the minus teens, feeling close to minus 7 to minus 13 in southern Ontario,” explained CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “It’s going to be a cold one across the area tonight.”

Atchison says increasing cloud cover is making its way into the region, and a few flurries are expected along the Lake Huron shoreline.

“A clipper [will] come in for your Tuesday with about two to four centimeters [of snow] expected and some winds gusting out of the southwest,” added Atchison.

Monday: A mix of sun and cloud. Wind up to 15 km/h. High minus 6. Wind chill minus 13 this morning and minus 8 this afternoon.

Monday night: A few clouds. Wind up to 15 km/h. Low minus 12. Wind chill minus 11 this evening and minus 18 overnight.

Tuesday: Becoming cloudy in the morning then snow changing to 40 per cent chance of flurries in the afternoon. Amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 60. High zero. Wind chill minus 15 in the morning.

Wednesday: Periods of rain or snow. High plus 2.

Thursday: Flurries or snow squalls. High minus 4.

Friday: A mix of sun and cloud. High minus 2.
