Police are looking for a group of youths after a 16-year-old was stabbed in Halifax early Sunday morning. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 6700 block of Chisholm Avenue around 12:10 a.m. Police found a teen suffering from a stab wound at the scene. They were taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. “It was reported that the victim was in a residence with friends when a rock was thrown through the window,” said Halifax police in a statement Monday. “The group went outside to see who threw the rock and encountered another group of youth dressed in black and wearing masks. The group with masks then sprayed a sensory irritant and the victim was stabbed.” Police have not made any arrests in the case. They say the investigation is ongoing.
