Road closure due to increased police presence in east London

Police have closed Quebec Street between Mornington Avenue and Salisbury Street due to a person in crisis.

Police are negotiating with the person in crisis, who is in a nearby residence.

Although there’s an increased police presence, police say there is no concern for public safety.

The public is asked to avoid the area.
