Temperatures are comfortable in southern Ontario, into the mid 20s, according to meteorologist Julie Atchison. “We’ll see them climb a few more degrees as we move toward the evening,” she said. Air quality levels have returned to what’s normal for this time of year with southern Ontario from moderate risk to low risk right across the region. “As we look to the northwest, we do have a little bit of light rainfall. Things will be quiet for us through the evening, but the chance of showers moves in overnight. Probability of showers through the early morning hours about 70 per cent.” said Atchison. This is the leading edge of a much cooler air mass that will arrive for your Wednesday. “Temperatures are set to drop off. So We have one wet day on the way and that’s tomorrow [Tuesday]. We need the rainfall, so we’ll take scattered showers and thunderstorms. 23 degrees and then just 21 on Wednesday under a mix of sun and cloud and full sunshine in the forecast on Thursday at 24 degrees.”
