Police arrested two suspects after finding illegal drugs in a St. Thomas residence on Monday. The male and female suspects were found in the residence when St. Thomas police executed a search warrant. Police seized fentanyl, cocaine and prescription medication totalling over $7,000. A gun, knife and a suspected counterfeit $100 bill was also seized. The 30-year-old male was held for court and faces six counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possessing counterfeit money and four counts of failure to comply with and undertaking. The 30-year-old woman was transported from the St. Thomas Police station by the Waterloo police, since she was allegedly wanted on three warrants for break and enter by Waterloo Regional Police Service.
