Middlesex County is conducting a survey of residents to get feedback on public transit in the community. The feedback will be used to improve the Middlesex County Connect, and Strathroy-Caradoc Inter-Community Transit routes, and assess their viability in the face of a looming end to federal funding. The current services have been made possible through funding from the Government of Ontario’s Community Transportation Grant Program - supporting these services until August 2025. All residents are welcome to submit their feedback, whether they use public transit or not. Middlesex County Connect routes include: Strathroy-Caradoc Inter-Community Transit connects: The feedback will be integrated with professional recommendations to evaluate routes, and recommend solutions to best support local and regional growth, while also deciding the future of inter-community transit services, and their viability upon completion of the funding.
