London police say six shootings have taken place in London over the past 72 hours. Two of the shootings occurred on Friday, three on Saturday and one on Monday. Two suspects are in custody, and police believe the shootings are related and targeted. No one has been injured as a result of the shootings. The first shooting was reported at 1 a.m. on Dec. 5 near Gatewood Road and Huron Street. Police found evidence of a single gunshot on the front door of a residence. The same day, at 3:40 a.m., police were called to the area of Rhine Avenue and Founders Road, finding a residence had been hit multiple times. On Saturday evening, police responded to another shooting at the same residence on Gatewood Road and Huron Street at approximately 8:30 p.m. They found a gun had been fired at the residence a second time. Police determined a black Jeep Cherokee may have been involved, according to video surveillance. Later Saturday evening at about 11 p.m., police responded to the report of gunshots near Primrose Court and Cleveland Avenue. Police say they found evidence of two gunshots. Just before midnight on Saturday, police responded to a gunshot report at a residence near Banbury Road and Goodman Drive. They found a single bullet had struck the residence. Police watched video surveillance and say a lone suspect was involved, wearing black pants, black jacket, red hoodie and a black face covering. They left in a dark-coloured SUV after firing one shot. On Monday, police responded to a shooting at 2 a.m., finding evidence of gunshots at a residence near Kipps Lane and Arbour Glenn. While responding to the shooting, police noticed a black Jeep Cherokee speeding in the area of Egerton Street and Hamilton Road. Police pursued the vehicle until it stopped near Wellington Road and Commissioners Road East. The suspects fled on foot, and police located and arrested two suspects, Jagger Perse and Shanaya Ireland. Officers learned the vehicle was stolen and a .22 caliber gun was recovered.
