The London police have shut down an illegal cannabis dispensary in the city. According to police, an investigation was launched into a shooting that took place on Nov. 25 at an unlicensed cannabis dispensary, called ‘Indi Exotics’. OPP’s Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team joined the investigation. The dispensary was allegedly operating without authorization from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario or Health Canada. On Dec. 2, a search warrant was executed at the dispensary. Illegal products were seized, worth an estimated $4,300. A 44-year-old London man is now charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, and possession of illicit cannabis.
