Halloween forecast for southwestern Ontario

CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison has all the details on what you need to know this Halloween.

Your trick-or-treating forecast isn’t so spooky, with showers lifting as the day goes on.

“The main rain moving out and just a chance for a few light showers today,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “You’ll notice the gusty winds though today as we head through the afternoon.”

You’ll still want to be bundled up, as temperatures will cool down before you head out the door in your costumes.

“As you head out with the little ones to do some trick-or-treating, [the temperature will be] about eight degrees,” continued Atchison. “We are expecting some nice conditions, although the temperature drops off.”

Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will be mainly cloudy with the chance for showers, however, sunshine will arrive on Sunday.

Friday (Halloween): Mainly cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. Wind becoming northwest 30 km/h gusting to 60 in the morning. High 11.

Friday night: Mainly cloudy. 40 per cent chance of showers overnight. Wind northwest 20 km/h becoming light early in the evening. Low plus 1.

Saturday: Mainly cloudy with 40 per

cent chance of rain showers or flurries. High 10.

Sunday: Sunny. High 13.

Monday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 11.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 12.
