Gas leak capped in downtown London

A natural gas leak in downtown London has been capped.

According to police, a gas line was struck in the area of Dufferin Avenue and Talbot Street.

All side streets and sidewalks between Albert Street and Queens Avenue and Richmond Street and Ridout Street north were shut down but have since reopened.

At the time of the incident, foot traffic was evacuated, as well as some specific buildings between Richmond Street and Ridout Street and Queens Avenue and Albert Street.
