Fog expected to develop as temperatures remain on the mild side

Julie Atchison has the latest forecast for March 9, 2026

Temperatures are still on the mild side across the region as daytime highs climb between 12 and 15 degrees, well above normal for this time of year.

According to CTV News London meteorologist Julie Atchison, Tonight we will see partly cloudy conditions with fog developing tonight and into tomorrow morning.

“Overnight lows will be closer to normal daytime highs. Expect four degrees overnight in London, holding between one and two degrees in through Mount Forest Kitchener-Waterloo, and temperature along the shoreline of Lake Huron between three and plus five,” she said.

Atchison added, we have a weak front coming in tomorrow with the risk risk of some light drizzle in the morning.

“We could see some showers in the afternoon, but temperatures holding on the mild side... We have another weather system coming in. This frontal boundary will stall with a chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms as we head into your Wednesday and you can see periods of rain with some strong storms Wednesday morning.”

Wednesday: Showers. High 13.

Thursday: A mix of sun and cloud. High plus 2.

Friday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of snow or rain. High plus 3.
